BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – North Brevard County is going to the dogs and in a huge way this weekend.

The North Animal Care and Adoption Center in Titusville will celebrate the “Dog Days of Summer” with watery fun, games, food and prizes, and dog and cat adoptions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Stonefire Art Studio.

Dog and cat adoptions will be priced at a special rate of $40, which includes spaying/neutering, rabies vaccinations, heartworm tests, initial vaccinations, flea treatment and county license tags.

So why get a pet at the event?

Studies show that people with pets live a bit longer and have better blood pressure. In return for a good home, shelter pets offer unconditional love and friendship for a lifetime of memories.
