BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Progressive Alliance will host 2012 Brevard County Nov. 6 ballot referenda presentations Nov. 1.

Should Brevard County Voters Approve the two Nov. 6 Ballot Referendums?

The event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Brian Binggeli, Brevard Superintendent of Schools, will give a presentation about the 1/2 cent sales tax and Patrick Biddix, President of Melbourne Greyhound Park, will speak about voter approval of slot machines at Melbourne Greyhound Park.

The event runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Front Street Civic Center, 2205 S. Front Street in Melbourne.

Voters should stay informed because county referenda are voted on by all registered voters in Brevard County.

The event will start with announcements at 6:30 p.m. Groups are invited to make a one to three-minute informal presentation about your mission, current or upcoming events, petition efforts, etc.

Bring literature and other materials to share. Info sharing and networking are the purpose of the evening

The program begins at 7 p.m.
