Rock-n-Roll Revue Welcomes 2025 with Music of 50s, 60s, 70s at Riverside Presbyterian Church Jan. 12

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA — The church will welcome the New Year by Rockin’ at Riverside, a free concert at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 12 at 3400 N. Atlantic Avenue (A1A). A free ticket for the concert can be reserved online or by calling 321-222-7875.
If it’s January in Cocoa Beach, it can mean only one thing: music at Riverside Presbyterian Church. Rockin’ at Riverside will feature the Rock-n-Roll Revue, known for its broad repertoire from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, under the direction of conductor Art Martin.
Popular vocalist Tony Schillizzi will croon some of the songs of yesteryear. At the same time, the Swingtimers Trio of Robin Krasny, Diana Sageser and Dave Hutson will perform in the tight harmony style of the era.
The audience can expect to hear time-honored favorites, like “Chantilly Lace,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Penny Lane,” “Mustang Sally,” “Rock Around the Clock,” “Downtown,” “Wipe Out” and many more.
Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach presents free Sunday concerts as part of the Dr. Vernon Boushell concert series, a musical legacy dedicated to uplifting the people of Brevard.
Riverside Presbyterian Church concert series executive producer Stephen Hoagland knows Rockin’ at Riverside will be a huge crowd-pleaser.

The Rock-n-Roll Revue is an 8-piece combo with male vocalist Tony Schillizzi and the Swingtimers Vocal Trio playing Doo-Wop music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. A performer, educator, adjudicator, and clinician, Art Martin taught in New Jersey public schools for over 40 years and spent six years as an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Montclair State University.
Art has been a member of the Melbourne Swingtime Band, Melbourne Municipal Band, the Oh Golly Dixieland Band, and played in the pit orchestras for the Cocoa Village Playhouse and The Henegar Center, playing various woodwind instruments. Art has also performed for Las Vegas Cruise Lines, with the Space Coast Pops and Central Florida Winds.
Art was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Melbourne Municipal Band from 2008 to 2010, serving as treasurer and on the finance committee. He currently is the Executive Administrator for the Melbourne Municipal Band and band leader for Rock & Roll Revue.

Swingtimers Vocal Trio comprises Robin Krasny, soprano; Diana Sageser, alto and baritone Dave Hutson, singing Big Band and Manhattan Transfer-style tight harmonies. Robin is a longtime Brevard vocalist, formerly of the popular duo, Robin & Eddy.
Dave Hutson, the group’s founder, also is a talented saxophonist, playing with Swingtime Band, Melbourne Municipal Band and Adagio Sax Quartet. Alto Diana plays percussion for the Melbourne Municipal Band and the Harbor City Dance Band.
Named in honor of the late Dr. Vernon Boushell, the concert series continues a musical legacy steeped in the sacred and classical repertoire. The free Sunday concerts at Riverside Presbyterian Church of Cocoa Beach incorporate many different forms of praise music.
