‘Mad Mike’ Stunt Motorcyclist Thrills Crowd At Fair

SPACE COAST STATE FAIR SPOTLIGHT

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA • VIERA, FLORIDA – Legendary freestyle motocross performer Michael Jones, known as “Mad Mike Jones” will thrill the crowd tonight, and through the weekend, at the Space Coast State Fair.

Mad Mike Jones will perform his death-defying feats at the Space Coast State Fair at 9 p.m. tonight, and then Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

“Mad Mike” is considered one of the founding fathers of the sport of freestyle motocross. He has over 35 years of professional rider experience and started his motorcycle racing career in 1972.

Jones is the 1989 world champion of Supercross, 1998 world freestyle motocross champion, and a 2001 Winter X Games gold medalist. In 2001 he was the first ever to win the Red Bull X-Fighters competition. He also goes around North American schools to share about his experience.
