BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA –  The Performance Shooting Challenge will be held Friday, Nov. 16 at the Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club.

The 3rd annual event supports Crisis Intervention Team training for law enforcement and other education programs of Florida Partners in Crisis, a statewide organization based on Merritt Island.

Florida Partners is Crisis is a statewide organization, based on Merritt Island, that unites representatives of the public and private sector to promote cost-effective use of tax dollars in the treatment of mental illness and substance abuse to help create safer communities.The competition includes IDPA-style action pistol, long-range rifle and trap-shooting events.

Advance registration is required as the event draws law enforcement and marksmanship enthusiasts from around the state.
