BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Art Festival, set for Nov. 24-25, is one of the top in the Southeast, drawing high-quality artists from throughout the nation.

Space Coast Art Festival, (SCAF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization governed by an all volunteer Board of Directors. In 1963, a small group of artists and local community leaders, formed the first ‘Cocoa Beach Sidewalk Art Show’. Sponsored by the City of Cocoa Beach and supported by the Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club, the art show thrived for several years. In 2010, the festival drew over 50,000 visitors.

The festival kicked off Thanksgiving morning with a 5K Turkey Trot at Bailiwick Mall on Brevard Avenue. Entrants  ran, walked or joged in this entertaining start to a fun-filled weekend.
