Troup Named COO of Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Matthew Troup has been named Chief Operating Officer of Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Troup will be responsible for hospital operations, including organizing, planning, controlling and coordinating resources to provide quality patient care for the 514-bed tertiary major medical center.
Troup has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. Prior to coming to Health First, he served as chief operating officer for Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 570-bed flagship hospital for Ardent Health System. Troup also worked as vice president, operations for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas with Texas Health Resources.

Troup earned his bachelors of business administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and his masters of science in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Active in his communities, Troup was a member of the Small Area Planning Council Tulsa Oklahoma, a graduate of Leadership Southwest Dallas and Executive Champion of the American Heart Association Primary fundraising Campaign.
Troup is excited to join the Health First team and become part of the Brevard community.
