Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center delivers Brevard's first baby of 2014
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center delivered Brevard County’s first baby of the New Year.
The Space Coast’s first new resident of 2014 is Nathan Starr, who was born at 1:25 a.m. on January 1, 2014. Nathan weighed in at a healthy 10 pounds, 12 ounces and is 22 inches long. The strapping baby boy is the first child of Viera residents Rachel and Damian Starr.
The Birth Suites at Holmes Regional Medical Center’s mother/baby wing features 23 private, well appointed post-partum rooms, many with great views of the Indian River.
The Birth Suites have it’s own grand, exclusive entrance from other areas of the hospital and a glass elevator rising directly to the spacious fourth floor lobby. The main waiting area is equipped with free WiFi service so family and friends can stay connected while awaiting their new arrival.
