BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Ignacio Silva, 90, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2013.
A Funeral Mass and Burial will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, Fla. on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. With his wife of nearly 65 years, Teresita, now departed, Ignacio moved to Indialantic in 1983. He was well known for his gentlemanly manner and kind smile.
Ignacio played tennis as a member of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church where he was a RCIA teacher.
Ignacio is survived by his five children, sons Ignacio, Jr., Fernando and Ed; daughters Helena Silva Chapman and Andria Silva; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his brother and sister-in-law, René and Asela Silva, who miss him dearly. Earth will be a lesser place without him but heaven has welcomed him with joy.
