SHERIFF’S AGENTS CONDUCT DEATH INVESTIGATION

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputy attempting to serve civil process at what is believed to be a homeless camp located a body at 600 Clearlake Road in Cocoa on Friday at about 12 noon, according to the Sheriff’s office.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has initiated a death investigation. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for a post-mortem examination.

The identity of the individual is not known at this time.
