BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The city of Palm Bay will present the 2014 Health First Palm Bay Hospital Holiday Light Parade on Saturday, December 6 starting at 6:30 p.m.
The annual event features 100 brightly lit floats, marching bands, holiday characters and more. Mark your calendar for this spectacular kick off to the holiday season.
Every year thousands of spectators turn out to line the parade route and welcome the holiday season. The parade route goes from San Filippo Drive turning west on to Malabar Road and ends at Eldron Boulevard.
The parade is sponsored by Health First Palm Bay Hospital and presented by the City of Palm Bay.
Heidi Lapin, Director of Parks and Recreation says, “This is something we look forward to all year. The holiday parade is a tradition here in Palm Bay since 1987 and it just keeps getting bigger and better as we grow.”
Entries are currently being accepted for floats, walking groups, motorized vehicles, bands and animals groups. The parade is a perfect way for your business or group to spread holiday cheer and get your message out to thousands of area residents.
The application and guidelines can be downloaded from the Palm Bay Parks & Recreation website at PlayPalmBay.org. Non-profit groups are free and for profit groups pay a $25 entry fee.
