BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Women of Excellence will feature former Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll as their guest speaker on Nov. 18 during an event at Baer’s Furniture in Melbourne from 8 – 9:30 a.m.
Carroll is the former 18th Lieutenant Governor of Florida, was the first black American and first woman to be elected to the position of Lieutenant Governor of the Sate of Florida, and has served the Florida House of Representatives from 2003 until 2010.
Carroll recently published a best selling autobiography When You Get There, and will present her inspirational story.
Breakfast is sponsored by The Fountains and the event is free for Melbourne Chamber Members, and $10.00 for non chamber members.
