Ugly Christmas Sweater Winners Announced

2014 UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER CONTEST WINNERS:
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – McCoy-Freeman Group RE/MAX Elite and SpaceCoastDaily.com presented their first annual “Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest,” and after receiving hundreds of entires, much debate in selecting the finalists, and finally counting your votes to select the winner, we are pleased to present the 2014 “Ugliest Sweaters” Winners.
Winners can now claim the bragging rights to the title of “Best Ugly Christmas Sweater Owner” until next Christmas, as well as cash prizes.
Entrants submitted a photo of themselves wearing their Best Ugly Christmas Sweater and a panel of Ugly Sweater experts selected the top finalists, and those images were posted to the Space Coast Daily’s Facebook page and website on Christmas Eve for viewers to comment and vote on.
Winners were announced on Christmas Day.
Categories included “Ugliest Sweater,” “Still Pretty Ugly” and “Just Too Pretty.”
The first place “Ugliest Sweater” winner, Kathleen and her son, will receive a $100 VISA gift card; Second place “Still Pretty Ugly” winner, Lisi, will receive a $50 VISA gift card; and third place “Just Too Pretty” winners, the Greasleys, will receive a $25 VISA gift card. Just as important, each winner will be presented a prestigious ribbon that can be worn proudly on their Best Ugly Christmas Sweater.
Contest rules stipulated that entrants must be in the photo wearing the sweater. A photo submission of just the sweater itself was not accepted.
