BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — Entrepreneurs, inventors, and small business owners looking to protect their ideas will have the opportunity to learn more about intellectual property during an upcoming webinar hosted by the Small Business Development Center at  Eastern Florida State College.

The Patents and Trademarks Webinar on Intellectual Property will take place on Tuesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and will be held online. This free, two-hour seminar is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the various types of intellectual property protections available in the United States.

Participants will gain insight into patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, as well as the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. The session will also cover general techniques for marketing new ideas, offering valuable guidance for individuals seeking to bring innovations to market securely and effectively.
