Police Seek Assistance To Identify Burglary Suspects

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne police are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspects, pictured in the above and below photos, who committed a car burglary in front of Sullivan’s Jewelry Store, located at 209 N. Babcock Street in Melbourne on Tuesday, January 27 at approximately 7:30 a.m.

The suspects pictured entered an unlocked vehicle and stole the victim’s wallet and cellphone.

The suspects was driving an older model white four door Toyota Camry with damage on the front passenger door. The vehicle is also missing the passenger side hubcaps.

After stealing the victim’s wallet, the suspects attempted to use the victim’s credit cards at a local Walmart store.

“We appreciate the assistance of alert witnesses and encourage everyone to help keep the community safe by ‘Locking Up’ your personal property and by reporting suspicious activity to your local Police Department or in the case of an emergency dial 911,” said Melbourne Police Commander Vince Pryce.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477 (TIPS), or Melbourne Police Detective Mike Schneider at 321- 608-6460. Tips that lead to an arrest involving this case could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
