Brevard County Medical Society To Install 2015 Officers

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Medical Society will gather on Thursday, March 5 at the Holiday Inn in Viera to install new officers, and bring their members and guests up to date information from the health care industry.
Incoming Brevard County Medical Society President Dr. Devin Datta, an orthopaedic and spine surgeon, will talk about the BMS’s rich history, advantages of membership and dedication to the community for more than a century.
Secretary Dr. Kyle Moyles of Melbourne-based First Choice Medical Group will highlight the Florida Medical Association’s recent activities.
The FMA represents more than 20,000 physicians on issues of legislation and regulatory affairs, medical economics and education, public health and ethical and legal issues.
The organization, which was founded in 1974, advocates for physicians and their patients to promote the public health, ensure the highest standards of medical practice, and to enhance the quality and availability of health care in the Sunshine State.
The meet and greet will begin at 6 p.m. and the dinner program, which will feature a Persian theme, will start at 7 p.m.
The Honorable Judge A.B. Majeed will conduct the installation of the 2015 Brevard County Medical Society officers.
Officers for 2015 include: President – Devin Datta, M.D.; President Elect – James E. Glenn, M.D.; Vice President – Piyush Joshi, M.D.; Treasurer – David Badolato, M.D.; Secretary – Kyle Moyles, M.D.; and Immediate Past President- Stephanie Haridopolos, M.D.
Board members for 2015 include: Stephen Badolato, M.D.; Glenn Bryan, M.D.; Gobi Balaji, M.D.; Lance Grenevicki, M.D.; Heidar Heshmati, M.D.; John H. Potomski, Jr., D.O.; Sangita Sahay, M.D.; and Eugene F. Wawryzniak, M.D.
The Brevard County Medical Society is a professional and scientific organization of medical and osteopathic physicians in Brevard County, Florida that was established in 1904.
The The Brevard County Medical Society is the local affiliate of the Florida Medical Association, and is a member of the Federation of Medicine.
Although membership is voluntary, physicians choose to join because they know that team efforts are most effective in attaining their goal of quality medical care for Brevardians and all Floridians.
Brevard County Medical Society Society members understand that quality medical care means being involved in patient advocacy, public information and health education, and community health affairs.
