EFSC Softball Splits Doubleheader Against Concordia

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida’s softball team split two games on Thursday, beating College of DuPage, 14-0 but losing 8-3 to Concordia University.
Eastern Florida is now 11-13 overall. Next up for the Titans is a key FCSAA Southern Conference doubleheader with Indian River State College at 1 p.m. Saturday on the Palm Bay Campus.
Eastern Florida is 2-4 in the conference and in fourth place. Indian River is 4-2 and in second place.
Whitney Stevens was the winning pitcher against DuPage. Katie Darrah was 2-for-2 with a triple, three runs batted in and four runs scored.
Hannah Roberts was 2-for-3 with two runs batted in.
Kayla Byers was the losing pitcher in the second game. Shelby Nazworth was 4-for-4 with a double, triple, two runs scored and a run batted in.
Also, Eastern Florida announced two date changes for upcoming conference game, playing Palm Beach State at 4 p.m. at home on April 2 and conference foe Broward College at 1 p.m. April 4.
