Friday – July 4: Fireworks & Small Surf
The 4th kicks off with classic Florida summer weather—hot, humid, and stormy by afternoon. Rain chances are around 60 to 80%, especially after lunchtime, so beachgoers should aim for the morning hours.

Surf Forecast:

Ankle to knee high, with a few larger sets possible

Best conditions early, before winds and storms move in

If you’re sticking around for the evening, Cocoa Riverfront Park is the place to be. The Symphony Under the Stars concert begins at 8 PM, followed by a fireworks show around 9:15 PM. Pack a lawn chair and a light poncho—just in case the weather sticks around longer than expected.

Saturday – July 5: Storms, Surf & Drone Light Show

Saturday follows a similar rhythm—morning sun, afternoon storms, and temps climbing into the upper 80s. It’s a great day for an early paddle or surf session before conditions shift.

Surf Forecast:

Ankle to knee high, semi-clean in the morning

Choppy by afternoon as sea breezes pick up

The real highlight? The Cocoa Beach Centennial Street Party!
Live music, food trucks, and community fun from 6–10 PM in downtown Cocoa Beach
A drone light show at 8:45 PM will light up the skies in celebration of 100 years of Cocoa Beach

Rain is possible, but organizers have a backup plan—so the celebration is still on!

Sunday – July 6: Wrap Up the Weekend Early

Sunday continues the trend: partly sunny early, with a good chance of scattered thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Highs will reach around 90°F, and humidity stays high.

Surf Forecast:

Knee high and less, with fading conditions

Best for early beach walks or beginner-friendly rides

Make the most of the morning if you’re looking for some final beach time before the weekend winds down.
