Palm Bay To Host City Manager Candidate Meet And Greet

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Seven finalists for the new city manager position will participate in an informal meet and greet on Sunday, April 12 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 1206 Malabar Rd. SE.

The event will provide an opportunity for the mayor and council along with invited guests and interested citizens to meet the individuals hoping to become the next manager and chief administrator of East Central Florida’s second-largest city.
On Monday, April 13, the seven finalists will be formally interviewed at a special council meeting beginning at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers.


After the public interviews and discussion the mayor and council will make a final selection at a special council meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 14 beginning at 6 p.m.
Among the priorities for Palm Bay’s next city manager is a critical review of the city’s operations to determine what can be done to fund roads, build utility infrastructure, structure pensions that are sustainable, and focus on economic development.
The finalists are as follows:

• Tamara Hanlin, Johns Creek, Georgia
• Patrick Salerno, Coral Cables, Florida
• Jane Shang, El Paso, Texas
