BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — “Where Titans Rise.” That’s the name of Eastern Florida State College’s new marketing campaign to recruit students and further solidify the college’s identity as an important community leader.
The plan was unveiled Monday to the college’s Board of Trustees by President Dr. Jim Richey, who cited these campaign goals:
• Increasing student enrollment and retention
• Making Eastern Florida the first choice for students to attend
• Emphasizing pride in the college’s growing collegiate experience
While Eastern Florida’s athletic teams are known as the Titans, Richey said the campaign theme was chosen because “it speaks with authority on many levels, including the strength of the college as a major institution that is rising with vision, innovation and opportunity.
“It also reflects the promise that every student can be a Titan rising to new heights of personal success through our academic programs, and the identity of everyone at the college as a Titan as demonstrated through our athletic programs and other student clubs and activities,” he said.
Richey noted that students and faculty are featured in the campaign, which began in mid-April and includes TV commercials and other ads across all media platforms such as websites, social media sites, radio, print publications and movie theaters.
