Enjoy Dinner, Free Outdoor Movie and Workshops June 5 At Micco Park

Brevard County Parks and Recreation will host a gourmet food truck and free outdoor movie event on Friday, June 5, at Micco Park, 9655 Riverview Drive in Micco (See Map Below).

BREVARD COUNTY • MICCO, FLORIDA – Brevard County Parks and Recreation will host a gourmet food truck and free outdoor movie event on Friday, June 5, at Micco Park, 9655 Riverview Drive in Micco (See Map Below).

There will be food trucks on hand serving a variety of food. The food trucks will begin serving at 6 p.m. At 8:45 p.m., Blue Life Florida, the Brevard Zoo, the Brevard County Natural Resources Department, and Brevard County Parks and Recreation will present ‘Watermark,’ rated PG. The movie will be shown on a giant outdoor movie screen.

This event is for all ages and admission is free. There will be two different workshops beginning at 6 p.m.

The Brevard Zoo will offer an Oyster Mat Workshop where participants can learn about oyster ecology and construct oyster mats. The workshop is limited to 40 participants.

Please RSVP to Kate at 321-254-9453 ext. 377, to reserve a spot. There will also be a Free Rain Barrel Workshop. Rain barrel kits will be given to the first 60 participants who RSVP by calling Lydia at 321-633-2016.

Patrons are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to use during the movie.

The event is funded in part by a Section 319 Nonpoint Source Management Program Implementation grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through an agreement/contract with the Nonpoint Source Management Section of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
