SUV Crashes Through Wall At Eau Gallie Veterinarian Clinic

Driver Charged With Careless Driving

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department was called to an incident Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:02 p.m. where a silver Honda SUV crashed into the side of the Eau Gallie Veterinarian Clinic at 3370 North Wickham Road, according to Melbourne Police Commander Dan Lynch.

According to witnesses, the vehicle careened across an empty field for approximately 150 yards before ending up inside the business.

The driver of the vehicle, a female in her 60s, was not seriously injured.

The receptionist was struck as she sat behind a desk. The receptionist was injured and transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center, according to police.

According to the police, the driver of the SUV was charged with Careless Driving.

No other injuries were reported and all the animals were inside the clinic were ok.
