weVENTURE Offers Non-Profit Focused Fundraising Skills Workshops

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – weVENTURE, a Central Florida-based organization focused on the entrepreneurial needs of women and powered by Florida Institute of Technology, is now offering two Certified Fundraising Executive programs, “Focus on Funding” and “Certificate in Grant Writing.”
Ideal for non-profits, these two programs will provide essential resources for those interested in learning more about today’s best fundraising strategies.
“Focus on Funding” is being held on Friday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $75 to attend. The workshop qualifies for six continuing education credits, gives an overview of the fundraising process and introduces participants to proven fundraising strategies.
“Certificate in Grant Writing” is a 24-hour (total) program, for which students receive 24continuing education credits.
“Certificate in Grant Writing” is scheduled for the following Fridays: June, 26, July 17, 24 and 31.
Classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and the cost of this program is $435.
The four-day workshop builds and enhances skills associated with winning effective grant awards, including strategic relationship building, ways to involve internal stakeholders in the process, the particulars of funding agencies, how to identify optimal funding opportunities and breaking down critical proposal components, including budget and evaluation, and the review process.
