The program included star performances from the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse Presenters, live & silent auctions, complimentary Pawtinis & Barkaritas, a buffet dinner, festive dance music, and a special presentation to recognize community leaders who have significantly contributed to the organization’s success.
This elegant evening serves as a major fundraiser for the Central Brevard Humane Society, proceeds raised are used to continue renovation on the aged 5,300 square foot shelter.
The facility has housed and cared for thousands and thousands of unwanted, abandoned and abused pets over the years, and is in great need of repair.
A truly unique organization deeply rooted in Brevard, the Central Brevard Humane Society is a “no kill for space” facility, self-sustaining, receiving no support from your tax dollars.
All of their funding comes through donations, their four Molly Mutt Thrift Shops, fundraisers, other pet related services and their Merritt Island Adoption Center.
“It was truly an honor to be recognized with such a prestigious award from the Central Brevard Humane Society, which is so beneficial to our community,” Sheriff Ivey.
