Eastern Florida State College Names Two Soccer Players Student-Athletes of Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Soccer players Paula Astiazaran and J.J. Donnelly are the Eastern Florida State College Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sept. 6.

Astiazaran, a freshman from San Sebastian, Spain scored four goals in two games for Titans. She scored three, including the game-tying and game-winning goals, in a 4-3 victory on Sunday against Lewis & Clark.

Astiazaran has a team-leading six goals for the 3-0 Titans.

Donnelly, a freshman from London, England scored the tying goal for Eastern Florida’s men’s team in the first half in its eventual 3-1 victory over Lewis & Clark on Sunday.

Donnelly has two goals this season for the Titans (2-0-1).
