“Creative Cans in the Sand is a not-for-profit with the mission to help encourage beach-goers to dispose of their trash responsibility, and with the hopes that more noticeable, artistically painted cans will result in a cleaner, more litter-free beach,” said Nikki McCoy-Freeman.

The couple have discovered their efforts have brought positive worldwide attention that Brevard County beaches are kept clean in a very creative way. The program has also received amazing community support.

“The City looks forward to this partnership and continued efforts to educate the public about keeping our beaches clean,” said Ben Malik, Cocoa Beach City Commissioner.
