BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – We are heading into a very active weather pattern, as east central Florida is in a Marginal Risk for severe storms on Friday and again late Saturday night through Sunday.

At this time, the primary severe weather risks are isolated tornadoes and damaging straight line winds.

Please keep closely informed of the latest weather updates through this weekend and have a severe weather safety plan ahead of time.

The Space Coast to Metro Orlando southward lies within a “Marginal Risk” of severe weather beginning early Friday morning.
