AUSTRALIA – Scott Mason a Western Australian Police Officer rescued Cuejoe the kangaroo after it was picked up by an eagle, police said.

He suffered talon wounds on his face and chest.

Mason adopted Cuejoe last month after its mother was killed.

For the past three weeks, Cuejoe had been living in Burringurrah, Australia while his Dad, Scott Mason was relieving at the MFPF.

Last Wednesday Cuejoe was in the rear of the Burringurrah station yard stretching his legs when a large Wedge-tailed Eagle swooped down and picked him up, carrying him out of the police yard.
