UPDATE: Titusville Driver Killed In Wednesday’s Deadly Crash Has Been Identified

UPDATE: The 77-year-old man that died in Wednesday’s morning crash in Titusville has been identified as Titusville resident Stephen C. Paulding.
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a two vehicles that later claimed the life of Stephen C. Paulding on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Cheney Highway and Sisson Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that 77-year-old Paulding driving a 1990 Lincoln Town Car attempted to make a left turn out of the Mobil gas station, located at 460 Cheney Highway, heading southbound on Sisson Road and was struck on the driver’s side door by a 2010 Dodge Charger heading westbound on Cheney Highway.
The impact of the crash caused the Lincoln Town Car to subsequently hit a utility pole located in the northwest corner of the intersection.
Paulding was extracted from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital where he later died at around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The driver of the Dodge Charger, Caitelyn Clyrissa Bell, 28, of Cocoa, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both drivers were the only occupants in the vehicles.
The crash remains under investigation.
