BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – With deepest sympathy, The Melbourne Police Department sends notification on the death of nine year veteran , 58 years old, born March 27, 1958. Officer Noles passed away on October 4th, 2016 from complications from cancer.

A memorial service celebrating the life and career of Officer Noles was held this morning at Calvary Chapel of Melbourne attended by members of Officer Noles’ family, the Melbourne community, numerous law enforcement agencies, City of Melbourne officials, and his brother and sister employees from the Melbourne Police Department.

Officer Noles is survived by his wife, Karen, his son Gabe, also a Melbourne Police Officer, his daughter Chelsea, and stepson Jarred.

Officers, family members, and the Chief of Police spoke at the service Monday, which was well attended by dozens of Melbourne Police Officers, both current and retired.

Police Chief Steve Mimbs told of how Chuck served the citizens of Melbourne so professionally. Chief Mimbs expressed how Chuck was one of the best of what the Melbourne Police Department could offer.

Chuck was a reliable, reserved, and responsible squad member that could be counted on. Officer Noles will be missed dearly by all those who knew him and worked side by side with him.
