Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade Winners Announced, South Cocoa Village Misfits Win Top Honors

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Parks and Recreation Central Area is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade, which was held on Saturday, December 10.

The annual parade was a hit and attended by hundreds from both communities. The South Cocoa Village Misfits took top honors with the Judges Choice Award.

Other Category winners included; St. Mary’s Catholic School (School category), Kennedy Middle Panther Band (School Band), Cocoa YMCA (Adult/ Youth) and the Cocoa Little League won for the Youth Civic category.

Marching in their second parade in as many weeks, The the Space Coast Ice Plex skated home with the top honors in the commercial category.

  • 2ND PLACE: Emma Jewel Charter Academy
  • 3RD PLACE: Endeavour Elementary Cheer

SCHOOL BAND

  • 1ST PLACE: Kennedy Middle Panther Band
  • 2ND PLACE: Cocoa High Tiger Regiment Marching Band
  • 3RD PLACE: Rockledge High School Raider Regiment Marching Band

ADULT/YOUTH 

  • 1ST PLACE: Cocoa YMCA
  • 2ND PLACE: Freedom All-Stars
  • 3RD PLACE: Dangerous Divas
