Brevard GOP Chairman Rick Lacey To Speak At Republican Women Meeting Feb. 13

YOUNG VOTER EXPANSION PROGRAM UNDERWAY

BFRW President Beth Young, left, presents the 2016 Lillian Banks Memorial Scholarship to Carter Lankes. The Brevard Federated Republican Women have established a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 in honor of long time member and former BFRW Legislative Chairwoman Lillian Banks. This scholarship is available to any male or female high school graduate who is a registered Republican.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Republican Executive Committee Chairman Rick Lacey will speak at the upcoming Brevard Federated Republican Women meeting at the Duran Golf Club Gold Club on Monday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. The Duran Golf Club is located at 7032 Stadium Parkway in Viera.

Lacey will discuss Brevard’s plans to seek and register the next generation of GOP leaders.

“We can’t afford to sit on our laurel and expect to maintain a powerful Republican leadership in Brevard,” said Brevard Federated Republican Women President Beth Young.

“We need to concentrate on enabling young, dedicated and talented Republican youth to continue our efforts towards conservative and Constitutional ideals.”

The group is dedicated to the education and promotion of Republican ideas and ideals.

“Since 1950, Brevard Federated Republican Women has been dedicated to supporting our military and veterans – as well as education,” said Young.

“With myriad of programs, supplying dictionaries for local schools and several scholarships annually for qualified students, the group includes an active ‘Women Mean Business’ group.”
