Cocoa Police Detectives Seek Identity of Theft Suspect After Taking A Woman’s Cell Phone

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police are conducting a theft investigation of a cell phone after police say a woman took another woman’s phone at a BP Station on 1924 SR 524.

According to the victim, she placed her cell phone on the counter while making a purchase, then forgot it and left without it.

When the victim realized she left her phone in the store, she returned and the clerk advised that another female took it claiming it belonged to her, according to investigators.

A review of the surveillance image shows the woman in the store was shopping at the same time the victim left her phone.
