BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In honor of the 40th annual National Parks and Recreation Month, Brevard County Parks and Recreation has unveiled the Passport Program, an initiative designed to engage residents with local community and education centers.
Running from July 1 to August 10, the program invites residents to explore Brevard’s many parks and recreation centers while collecting prizes and discovering the wealth of programs offered throughout the county.
Participants can pick up a passport at any of the designated registration sites, identify with an asterisk in the official program list, and begin visiting participating centers.
Each visit earns a stamp in the passport, bringing participants one step closer to rewards such as stickers, frisbees, sunglasses, drawstring backpacks, and discount coupons for facility rentals. The more centers visited, the greater the rewards and participants will also be entered into prize drawings.
The initiative is free and open to the public, encouraging community members of all ages to participate in local recreation while promoting greater awareness of the resources available at county facilities.
