Eastminster Presbyterian Church Holding Free Patriotic Concert On July 4th

Free Concert, Ice Cream Precede Fireworks on 4th
BREVARD COUNTY • INDIATLANTIC, FLORIDA – Brevard residents can enjoy a free patriotic concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, located at 106 N. Riverside Drive in Indialantic.
The Melbourne Municipal Band and Festival Chorus will come together for God Bless the USA, celebrating our nation’s heritage through song.
Held inside the air conditioned sanctuary of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, the popular event will feature ice cream served before and after the concert.
The music will be simulcast in the fellowship hall to any latecomers. Attendees are invited to remain on the grounds after the concert to view the Front Street fireworks beginning at 9 p.m. (weather permitting).
The audience will be encouraged to sing several numbers during the musical extravaganza which will feature much-loved selections such as God Bless America, Star Spangled Banner, God of Our Fathers, Armed Forces Salute, Battle Hymn of the Republic, and many others.

Veterans and their families will be asked to stand and be recognized when the military anthem for their branch of the service is played.
Melbourne Municipal Band Conductor Staci Cleveland will lead the musical tribute to America.
Eastminster Presbyterian Church Outreach Team Leader, Dr. Linda Jasperse, thinks God Bless the USA will be a great evening out for patriots of every age.
“The Festival Chorus is comprised of singers from area church and community choirs,” said Dr. Jasperse.
“When you add the fine musicians of the Melbourne Municipal Band, the result is a concert that provides the whole community with the gift of patriotic music. After the concert, folks are welcome to spread a blanket on the church lawn, have some ice cream and watch the Front Street fireworks.”
God Bless the USA is presented as a community outreach program for Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic, Florida.
