UPDATE: Man Identified Who Died of ‘Medical Episode’ On Shoulder of I-95 In Palm Bay

Paul Hildenbrand, 51, from Port St. Lucie, Died Sunday night

The Florida Highway Patrol has identified Paul Hildenbrand, 51, from Port St. Lucie, as the man who died in his car after suffering a “medical episode” Sunday night on I-95 at Mile Marker 178 in Palm Bay.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol has identified Paul Hildenbrand, 51, from Port St. Lucie, as the man who died in his car after suffering a “medical episode” Sunday night on I-95 at Mile Marker 178 in Palm Bay.

According to Sgt, Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was driving a 2014 Kia and was traveling southbound when he stopped on the shoulder of I-95.

Sgt. Montes said when Troopers arrived the victim he was dead on the scene.

This incident is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
