Norma Faye Ball Holden, 77, of Palm Bay, Passed Away Peacefully at Home April 12

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Norma Faye Ball Holden, 77, of Palm Bay, died peacefully at home on April 12, 2018. Faye was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on February 25, 1941, to the late Virginia and Crit Ball.
She married Oscar Holden in 1961 and followed him all over the world with the U.S. Air Force. After retirement, they settled in Palm Bay, FL where she lived since 1982.
Faye was a Governor’s Point of Light recipient in 2009 due to her volunteer work with Harmony Farms for over 20 years.
She is survived by wonderful caregivers, granddaughter Angela and spouse Nicholas Vadney. Also surviving are daughter Deborah Holden, son in law Larry Pombier, granddaughter Jolene Griesse (Paul), great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Alex Leo and Scott, twin sister Barbara Brackett, sister Annabelle Angel (Charles), brother Garry Ball and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Faye was preceded in death by her husband Oscar, daughter Julia and Brother Larry.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the Salvation Army Chapel, 1080 Hickory Street Melbourne, FL, with a viewing at 1 p.m. and services at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Fountainhead Memorial Park Cemetery next to her beloved Oscar.
