DIYM Catering of Titusville Wins Coveted ‘Brevard’s Best Salsa’ During Fiesta Brevard At Cocoa Village

Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted event

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA VILLAGE, FLORIDA – DIYM Catering of Titusville won the coveted “Brevard’s Best Salsa” title with their signature “Mango Bango – Hot Salsa” during the 14th Annual Fiesta Brevard event last Friday at Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village.

Brevard’s Best Salsa is a coveted title among salsa chefs and aficionados as DIYM Catering was chosen in a blind taste test by a panel of celebrity judges.

The second place winner was 2Sisters Natural Foods, featuring “Sunshine Salsa – Hot” and third place went to Capt’n Tony’s “Medium Pirate Salsa.”

The People’s Choice first Place award was also presented to DIYM Catering. The second and third place awards went to Capt’n Tony’s for their Medium & Hot Salsas.

First place for the Best Dressed Booth went to Coastal Poodle Rescue, second place was awarded to Cocoa Beach Community Church and third place went to the Brevard Humane Society.

The event also had a Fiesta Hat Contest. In the Adult Division, first place went to Ann Schawe, second place went to Jessica Greinlee and third place went to Debbie Tartaglia. In the children’s division, Celine Lee won.

The Non-Profit Task Force, a committee of the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce, hosted the event which included 17 organizations including those that serve children, families and seniors, and those that care for animals and promote community service.

Fiesta Brevard was a fundraising opportunity to help support each non-profit’s mission. Along with sharing information, each organization offered a game and or raffle item.
