BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Walter “Wally” Kohler.
Wally, as we all knew him, retired in November of 2013 as a Driver/Operator with over 32 years of service to the Titusville Fire Department and to the citizens of Titusville.
To know Wally, was to know that he had a soft spot for animals, and for helping others in any way he could.
He had a wealth of knowledge and was the “go to” on department history and the hard to fix things, just to name a few.
We all called on Wally at one point or another asking for help with stray or rescued animals. Without fail, he was always there to help.
A memorial service will be held this Friday, May 4, 2018, at North Brevard Funeral Home at 1 pm. Our condolences to the family and all those who were blessed to know and work with Wally.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the following: Freedom Tails Rescue, Inc. P.O. Box 83, Mims, FL 32754 or CLICK HERE to donate to a cause Wally was very passionate about.
Rest easy Wally, you will be missed.
