BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Florida Institute of Technology’s Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts will host the Not Quite Right Improv Comedy Troupe for a unique and interactive gallery performance at 7 p.m. Friday, July 13.
Guests will join the Melbourne-based comedy troupe for an improvised walk down memory lane in this special, one-night event.
The show takes inspiration from the Center’s current exhibits, Apron Strings: Ties to the Past and Maggy Rozycki Hiltner: Not Quite Sew.
Audience members are encouraged to bring a personal item that means something to them.
The NQR actors will take inspiration from the items and breathe new life into them through short stories, plays and monologues – all created on the spot, without a script.
Tickets are $15 for the general public or $10 for Friends of Textiles members and full-time Florida Tech faculty, staff and students, plus sales tax and fees. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ruth Funk Center.
