Crisis Counseling Assistance Available For Witnesses of Titusville Park Shooting Incident

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – 2-1-1 Brevard and the Titusville Police Department will offer crisis counseling assistance to families and witnesses to a shooting incident that occurred Saturday at Isaac Campbell Park in Titusville.

The shooting occurred just after 5 p.m. Saturday during a back-to-school rally held at the park. One person was injured. An estimated 150 people, mostly school-aged children, were at the park when the incident occurred.

On Tuesday, Brevard County Parks and Recreation worked with 2-1-1 Brevard and Titusville Police to provide crisis counseling referrals for anyone at the park on Saturday who is in need of assistance.
