Space Coast Health Foundation Elects Retired CPA Linda Dale New Board Chair

Community Leader and Retired CPA is New Board Chair
BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Health Foundation pleased to announce that Linda Dale has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.
She replaces James Dwight, whose term as Chairman is complete after three years of service. Dwight will remain on the board as past chair.
During Dwight’s tenure, the Foundation held five Dental Days, conducted leadership development trainings for non-profits, welcomed Lifetime Counseling Center to the Foundation, offered three Mental Health First Aid classes and established a training program at the Center for Collaboration.
To date, the foundation has awarded just shy of $9.6 million in healthcare-related grants to Brevard County agencies.
Other newly elected officers include Tricia Romesberg, Vice Chairman; Scott Huff, Secretary; and Adam Bird, Treasurer.
“It’s an honor to be part of the leadership of Space Coast Health Foundation,” said Dale.
“In the Foundation’s short history, it has made a measurable positive impact to the health and wellbeing of our community. The collaborative spirit in which the Foundation works to fulfill its mission is the key for continued success.”

Dale has lived and worked in Brevard County since 1982. She has been on the Space Coast Health Foundation board for five years, serves on the board for the Community Credit Union and has served on several boards of community and professional organizations in Brevard in the past.
A retired CPA at Linda Dale & Company and community leader, Linda will oversee the governance of the foundation, including the new three-year strategic plan.
The Space Coast Health Foundation is a grant-making organization established to enhance the health and wellness of individuals and communities in Brevard County.
The foundation was formed as a nonprofit organization in 2010 with funds from the October 2010 sale of the Wuesthoff Health System, including its hospitals, hospice, nursing home and other medical services.
