Child Transported To Hospital Via Helicopter After Being Hit By Train In Port St. John

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT ST. JOHN, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue was on the scene of a child who was hit by a train on Fay Boulevard Tuesday night in Port St. John.

Authorities say a trauma alert has been issued for the child.

The child is being transported to a nearby hospital via helicopter.

The incident happened around 8:50 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the child has been identified as a 15-year-old male and is in stable condition.

Troopers say it appears the victim was clipped by the train.
