BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Our Communications Officers are amazing men and women who perform the critical role of keeping our Law Enforcement Officers and community safe each and every day.
As Communication Officers they answer emergency calls for service, dispatch first responders, take control of often chaotic situations and maintain communications during emergency situations.
The position is as rewarding as it is exciting as it can be heart-wrenching and heartwarming.
The right candidate for the job is someone who is very organized, adept at multi-tasking, level-headed trustworthy and compassionate about serving their community.

Upon employment, all candidates will receive a one-time $2,500 hiring bonus in addition to their starting salary.
Our agency provides all training necessary for an entry level applicant to become a certified Public Safety Telecommunicator and we also offer a competitive starting salary, up to $37,107 per year with prior experience.
We have a very competitive benefits package that includes medical, life insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday leave, college tuition reimbursement, and participation in the Florida Retirement System.
