SAM JACOBS: 'Being successful is not only about working hard but working smart'

The number of businesses that run from a strictly online storefront has increased rapidly over the past few years. Now that nearly anybody can get online and launch a website and an e-commerce store, it’s difficult for customers to recognize whether or not a business is worthy of their hard earned cash.

But there is something that nearly every business owner or entrepreneur enjoys, its freedom.

However, that freedom to travel wherever you want, whenever you want, and however you want comes at a cost.

To qualify for that lifestyle, a brave 18-year-old entrepreneur was determined to make it to the online world, and he wasn’t going to quit easily.

Shmuel Jacobs, also known as Sam Jacobs, was born in New York City. Growing up, Sam Jacobs really disliked school with a passion, but it’s only when he joined a college that he gathered the courage to asked his parents to allow him to drop out to pursue his entrepreneurial dream.

Surprisingly, his parents supported his decision, but that alone wasn’t enough. To succeed, Sam Jacobs spent the first six months of his entrepreneurial journey burning the midnight oil and working tirelessly on his business up to late nights every single day.

Today, at the tender age as his, he is already the CEO of Uprise Education and the founder of two other companies. He is also a mentor to thousands of students who have gone to generate millions of dollars in revenue.

The 18-year-old e-commerce expert has proved that age is nothing but just a number when it comes to utilizing the digital space.

Sam Jacobs’ smart and hard work paid off when last year he generated over $1.5 million in e-commerce revenue.

“The success of every e-commerce depends on sales, and therefore, we have to promote brand image positively to skyrocket sales. That’s how we have been able to grow and scale our clients’ businesses,” says Sam Jacobs.

According to Jacobs, modeling is often ignored by many individuals and is one of the most instrumental keys to success.

“The idea is to replicate what is working, not copying. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, just use what’s working,” he says.

Sam firmly believes that people should know their strong WHY before venturing into entrepreneurship.

Venturing into a business is not a walk in the park and to succeed, an entrepreneur needs to develop a thick skin, and Sam Jacobs falls no short of that. In fact, his entrepreneurial journey is filled with hurdles and mysteries, but any hurdle is always accompanied by a solution, which is just a step away.

Sam Jacobs shares a few tips for the newbie entrepreneurs, he adds, “Being successful is not only about working hard but working smart. It’s not about how much you make, but how much impact you can make. Also, it is important to focus on a single task and gain authority over it. Lastly, it is possible to achieve anything, but only if you take time to grow.”
