Titusville Police Charge Husband and Wife with Abuse, Neglect of an Elderly Woman

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Police in Titusville say they’ve charged a husband and wife in connection with neglect of an elderly woman.
Robert Eugene Hydorn, 55, and Joanne Patricia Hydorn, 47, have been charged with abuse of an elderly disabled person domestic violence and neglect of an elderly disabled person domestic violence.
Police say they responded after a report from the Department of Children and Families indicated an elderly woman was being abused by her caregivers.
According to a release from the Titusville Police Department, the two are accused of mismanaging a woman’s pain medication.
The pair were taken into custody at around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
They are currently being held without bond in the Brevard County Jail.
