Boy Injured After Crashing Dirt Bike In Melbourne, Police Investigating

Melbourne Police are investigating a Tuesday night crash that involved a vehicle and a male juvenile who was driving a dirt-bike on Aurora Road, west of Wickham Road.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are investigating a Tuesday night crash that involved a vehicle and a boy who was driving a dirt-bike on Aurora Road, west of Wickham Road.

The boy has been taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital because of his injuries.

When officers arrived on-scene, they found the boy sustained serious bodily injuries as a result of the crash.

The preliminary investigation has shown that the boy operating the motorcycle was driving a 2008 Suzuki DR-Z70 (nonstreet/dirt-bike) eastbound on the sidewalk along the north side of Aurora Road, west of Wickham Road. The other involved vehicle, a 2003 Hyundai sedan, was traveling west on Aurora Road.

When the motorcycle operator crossed over Wickham Road, he was thrown from the motorcycle and into the path of the 2003 Hyundai.

The driver of Hyundai has been identified as 49-year-old Tiffany Marie Fox from Melbourne.
