Space Coast Daily will provide live play-by-play action of the Cocoa vs. Bolles and please note this will be an audio-only broadcast as the Florida High School Athletic Association has sold the sole video rights, thus preventing all other media outlets wishing to video stream the game.

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – Cocoa High School was in Jacksonville on Friday night to take on the 10-1 Bolles Bulldogs for the rights to advance to the Class 4A state championship on Dec. 11 in Daytona Beach at Hodges Field at Skinner-Barco Stadium.

The Tigers (8-3) are led by quarterback DJ Arroyo, running back Caziah Holmes and linebacker AJ Williams.

Arroyo currently boasts a 65-percent completion percentage while throwing 10 touchdowns and five interceptions.

Holmes has proven to be a difference-maker when the ball is in his hands after accumulating 1,401 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns. The Penn State commit is currently registering 8.9 yards per carry.

Anchoring the defense, Willams leads the team by a wide margin with 114 total tackles (49 solo). Williams has also racked up four sacks and one forced fumble.

As for the Bolles Bulldogs, this is the most successful championship-winning football program in Florida history, boasting 11 state titles.

The Tigers and Bulldogs have met several times in the postseason, most recently in 2016 when Cocoa won 31-17 in the state championship game.
