ORLANDO, FLORIDA – A group of more than 200 volunteers affiliated with the Space Coast Young Marines unfurled a giant American Flag before the Michigan vs, Alabama Citrus Bowl game on January 1, 2020.
According to Brian Schneider, the Unit Commander of Space Coast Young Marines, they were presented with the opportunity to participate in the Opening Ceremony of the Citrus Bowl at Camping World Stadium.
“Only catch, we needed at least 200 people for the mission,” said Schneider.
The Space Coast Young Marines got it done thanks to the many families and friends who jumped in to provide support, including family members, along with other fellow Young Marine Units who drove across the state from Brooksville, Ocala and Pensacola.
