Brevard Achievement Center to Host Annual Arts Festival at Brevard Zoo Feb. 24-26

event brings together more than 1,200 students with disabilities
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard Achievement Center is proud to announce the 32nd Annual Arts Festival, “Color in Motion,” to be held at the Brevard Zoo on February 24-26.
Formerly known as the Very Special Arts Festival this event brings together more than 1,200 students with disabilities from both public and private schools to explore the arts through “Color in Motion!
Participating students will find make-and-take arts and crafts projects, engaging music stations and specially designed physical activities located throughout the Zoo, where they will also interact with the many animal encounters.
More than 300 volunteers come together to bring this Festival to life including BAC program participants, Brevard Public Schools, Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System, Brevard County Health Department, Knights of Columbus – Rockledge, Greater Viera Women’s Club, and Eastern Florida State College of Education
While the Zoo will be buzzing with students, teachers, family and friends, the public is encouraged to come out and enjoy the Festival as part of their paid Zoo admission.
